Episode Transcript
Hello and welcome to Power of the Parent, the podcast. This series is a new format and we are going to be focusing on a different topic each week, bringing you three things you need to know about whatever that may be, mainly from an employer perspective. But of course, there’s plenty of reframing that parents could do to benefit from the content as well.
We will be covering everything from parental leave transitions, managing boundaries, what to do when your talent pipeline looks a bit dodgy, tips on gathering feedback, and things like establishing parental support networks. So let’s dive in.
Hello and welcome to not quite an episode of three things you need to know about this week, because I’m not actually going to give you a new episode at all. It is the 17th of December, 2024, and it has been a year of navigating so much for pretty much anybody that I have come across or spoken to. So this week is just me saying, I hope that whatever the coming weeks and months mean for you in terms of festivities, celebrations, grief, tricky family relationships or dynamics that you’re navigating, joy, happiness, needing to feel enough, all of the things all of the time. I hope that, for those of you that follow the Gregorian calendar, that you have a great new year and I will be back in 2025 with lots more episodes of three things you need to know about. Please do get in contact if you want to request a topic that I focus on, or that I can bring in a guest expert for, I would absolutely love to make your insight dreams come true.
So thank you everybody for listening this year. Thank you for being part of Power of the Parent, everything that we’ve done. It has been a blast and I will see you on the other side.
Thank you so much for joining me for another episode of Power of the Parent with podcast. If you have got a few spare minutes, who am I kidding? Of course you haven’t got a few spare minutes, but if you would like to choose to spend a few of your minutes giving me any sort of review or rating, I would massively appreciate it.
