It has been a pleasure to work with Charlotte in recent months to craft some tailored training for line managers supporting parent colleagues in their teams. As part of developing the session, Charlotte took the time to meet with several colleagues from around the business to listen to and understand their experiences and the challenges they may have faced owing to their parental responsibilities, and that was borne out in some targeted feedback for the business in how we can best support parents, both within and outside the workplace. The two live sessions (one at a very bright-eyed 5am to accommodate APAC and ANZ colleagues) were thoroughly practical and thought-provoking, and we have had some fantastic feedback from colleagues and managers who attended. We will be integrating these resources into our reboarding program and I'm confident they'll help to improve the experience of parent colleagues at Taylor & Francis.
